What is it about people talking on the phone while in line?

I get so aggravated when I’m in waiting in line and have to listen to some stupid phone conversation. Yes, you can not answer the phone! It’s rude to talk on the phone in front of others, especially in a closed space where you can’t excuse yourself.

Do they think they are that important?

That the caller may not call back?

Trying to show off?

I get it, sometimes we have to grab the phone. Take your phone con in private. We don’t want to hear it.

  1. I get it.
I’m not so annoyed at convos on line but I’m really not happy with someone fumbling with the phone when they’re at the check out.
A related issue is the decreased usage of ear buds or headphones in the gym. Because everyone wants to hear your workout playlist because it MUST be the best.
